Thank God you don't have the gas tax we have here! I think it would be unwise to push that tax idea right now when food and gas and heating are so expensive. It's true, you never know with politics.

I don't like sales tax. I remember when it was going to be introduced in Australia and I told friends don't worry it will be a tax on inports like fine whisky and wines. International fashion and mostly things we the people don't indulge in often. Ha! there is even tax on things that are already taxed. So I was wrong.

FSI, I wish your new Governor the best and hopefully, he will not add a sales tax on car washes. I don't think the economy is strong enough for that.
