I suppose you never thought of gold mining. A pretty precarious occupation in those days, I'm sure. I cannot think of anything to uplift you at the moment, but do carry on, it is history. Did I ever tell you that I had a boomerang once sent by an uncle. I think it is prohibited now. I could not get it to come back.

Goldiec you were thinking like we do when we are that young and in love. life was a learning curve and we weren't really aware of the curve or how a bit of hardship helped make us who we are.

Good Afternoon
Kabu, your memories make me smile. To me, you led a wonderful life. I really enjoyed reading about when you worked at the truck stop. When we were first married before we had children we lived in an apartment. When I look back on it those days were some of our best. Our furniture was mostly hand-me-downs but we did have a new couch and chair and television. When we were broke we ate bologna sandwiches and mac and cheese. We were so young and happy and to think that I thought I knew everything! What was I thinking???
