Mr. Martin sounds like a contractor I know named Tony. He does top notch work and shows up when he says he will. They're one in a billion.

I'm glad that you didn't get hurt from falling. I sometimes have issues with balance and dizziness. At the pace that the contractors are going, they may get done by next October. Best of luck to you. Have a great day!

I don't like this dizzy stuff you're experiencing. Not one bit.
But it's excellent to get a sense that things in your kitchen will eventually be finished. With that stress gone, maybe the other stuff will fade, too. Amazing story about the kindness among people and the house gifted to the church.

Kabu, Mr. Martin sounds like a wonderful person to me. I'm thankful you found him and he can do a fall clean-up in your yard. I'm wondering how Trish is doing? I hope well. Your lighting sounds beautiful. It's nice that you won't have to worry about dust collecting on your lights. That is priceless. Several years ago we bought a beautiful light to go over the kitchen table. It always needed to be dusted and was so much work that we took it down and put up a plain light.
