St Louis floods almost annually in the spring from the melting snow from the northern states.

It reminds me of New Orleans. It's not the Mississippi River that floods but the canals that were built.

Good morning

I hope that your son and his family will be alright. I looked up the river. It is pretty, but rivers can be so dangerous despite their beauty. Thank you for sharing your history with us, and I am sending prayers for your family.

Good Morning

Kabu, I'm praying that your family is okay.  Water scares me and it can be so destructive.  I wonder how long it will take to get everything back to normal.  I hope there's higher ground for people to go to for safety.

This makes me want to dig out your "Tom Ugly" book and read it again.

I didn't know that about the flooding and I hope your family is safe. It is such an interesting name, Waga Waga. Good there are dams.

I love the "place of many crows" meaning to the name Wagga Wagga.

I think crows are my favorite birds because they are so smart - seems to me that some of their signals may actually be cusswords, but that could just be my bias talking. It would be nice to be going into spring now, instead of winter. I hope your family is not troubled by the spring flooding.
