FSI, I loved this memory of going fishing with your Dad. I think when you are catching fish it's always fun. I know down at the pier in Cleveland there are always people fishing from morning till night. A lot of times they will catch sheephead in Lake Erie and most people don't want them but there's always someone that will take them. I guess there's a special way to cook them but most people don't have the skill to do it.

That would be such fun with your Dad for a kid; well for anyone; but a little boy wouldn't have a chance to get bored with them so easy to hook.

The lakes here, well large pools just do not continue to support the trout. The recent hot summers have wiped most out, fishermen are quite disillusioned .

How fun! That is a nice memory of you and your dad. That's a shame that they closed down the fishing portion. I share similar memories, but mine are at Port Mahon in Delaware where we used to go fishing and crabbing when I was a kid. I still visit it, but now I just buy the Old Bay steamed crabs at the local shacks.
