I could very well see that being the world in 400 years. It'll be interesting to see all the technology that has developed.

Re: Good afternoon Sherri

Hope I am wrong Sherri, of course living underground might suffice for many years until the Sun just glowed red with little warmth,

Re: Good afternoon Sherri

I suppose folk change, of course years ago folk had no chance of separating and

a pale kind of existence existed.

Re: Taps

Well it might take longer Taps, but inevitably the Sun will burn out. A good job we made it here.

Well that was a bit wet. Yes Jim sounds like he is a good sort. Excuse me I have to find some tissues.

Re: Good Afternoon Goldiec

I think sadly this is as good as it gets, no one can seem to agree for long. Keep baking.

RePat

The trouble of colonizing  making it suitable for Earthies probably would take many years and very expensive. Perhaps a move to the Arctic might be more likely. I suppose the real problem is the unknown.

Four hundred years from now folks may be colonizing Mars or

Pluto. I don't think we'd ever adapt to staying underground all the time, but then we did descend from the cave dwellers. If we'd just quit burning gasoline & other stuff and polluting the air, maybe the trees would flourish and the earth's temp would get back to a cool we can live with.  It's all so complicated.

Good Afternoon

Wow!  Living underground is not something I've ever thought about.  I would have to think about this for a while before I decide if this is a good idea or maybe there will be another choice.   I always thought it would be like the jetsons and everybody would be flying around and have a maid like Rosie.  All that you mentioned would take quite a while to get used to.

You make me thankful that I will not be alive 400 years from now.  I would not like living underground.  It's bad enough to be dead underground.   The little sausage with a squeak is intriguing.  But I'm not hungry, thank you.

Good afternoon

It truly is sad, but romance is not anything like it used to be. Long-term marriages are becoming an old-school idea in favor of friends with benefits.

Good afternoon

Your predictions are probably pretty close to accurate at the rate that this world is changing. Flying cars, chips implanted under our skin, and those tubes you speak of is not something that I would enjoy partaking in. I'd love to have everything shift back into a time that was much calmer and technology free.
