I think I will skip dinner as I had enough for lunch to take care of the rest of the day except for a cup of hot tea....maybe a little bunch of fresh grapes....and a few almonds... and...

Pat, I thought of you when I found several pairs of brand-new children's gloves tucked away. I'm going to take them to Goodwill for the children that need gloves in the winter. They are different colors and the two that really stand out are the bright pink gloves and the lime green gloves. They are very bright. I think little ones will love them.

The organizing bug must have landed here, too. I got a very small
start on bagging up some of my crocheted hats & scarves to donate, and tucked a few items I'd been hanging onto in case I might need them into the Goodwill box. I think I'd first saved those items before covid - so that "if you haven't used it in a year, get rid of it" rule for organizing seems to apply. The fried potatoes, peppers & onions sounds yum!

Sherri, your breakfast for dinner sounds delicious. I love fried potatoes with peppers and onions. I know you will have a blast when you go shopping with the girls. I hope you find some really great bargains. I think that is so nice that your son-in-law and grandson will help John with the tree branches while you and the girls are spending quality time together. On a side note I looked through the books you gave me and they all sound really good. I have one that I've picked to read first and it really sounds good. Thanks again for the books.

Good morning
Burgers are perfect for a hot summer day. I believe that it is the last as the Fall Equinox begins tomorrow. I am planning on making a stovetop roast next week when it is cooler. I found a really easy recipe that only takes three hours of slow cooking on the stove. I have items in my closet that don't make sense as well. I'd love to have a massive yard sale and get rid of it all. I'm making breakfast for dinner tonight with fried potatoes, peppers, and onions, fluffy scrambled eggs whipped with half & half, thick Applewood bacon, and buttery toast points. I am planning on making southern fried chicken on Saturday for the youngest, her hubby, and the grandkids. They are coming for a visit and us three girls are headed out on a shopping excursion while the boys play with tree branches.
