Re: CCT

Don't give up.  I hope that your doctor gave you some good do's and don'ts to help you to live with the situation.  I have lots of sympathy for you as I have experienced arthritis pain and it is no fun at all.   We want you to have fun.

Yes the old adage Use it or lose it. I have Polymyalgia at present I seem to get it

every ten years or so. It is quite painful but not terribly so. I try and do exercise but

I do flop down in a chair at times. I find one could sleep easily but then one keeps

waking during the night. I hope I can get better from this but I could not break a

horse in at present unless it was a rocking horse.

Those hard surfaces are really felt as we age...I remember a guy in church who would sit in the back row. There were no kneelers but that didn't stop him. He did it well into his 60s. Right now, he can't do it because he has PLS, a disease from the ALS family.

Good morning

I know those days well. I sometimes have trouble getting up off the floor. Weeding my flowers on my knees is unbearable at times. I have slowed down quite a bit myself. It's remarkable that you are in your 80s and are still so very active. Good for you. I had a 98-year-old aunt who once told me that staying active is the key to a long life. She was a caregiver well into her early 90s. Keeping the brain active is equally important.
