Re: Sherri_G

I have seen places with some beautiful colors. Judy and I traveled all over America for twelve years as traveling nurses. I've been to all the states except Hawaii and Alaska. I loved the mountains of Colorado and Tennessee. I love the Gulf of Mexico, the Atlantic, and the Pacific oceans, but few places had the colors I saw along the shores of Mama Superior. The immenseness of the lake, the angle the sun hit the atmosphere, and the lake's nearly constant temp of 38/39 degrees, in winter and summer, gave it the ability to be so colorful and beautiful. The mountains in Maine were wonderful, as was Pennsylvania, and Utah, and the other states... but if I had to pick one spot... it would always be the UP. There were many factors that made us leave, and maybe if the nonsense gets cleaned up, I could see us returning... the guy buying my house up there is struggling to live, let alone pay us for it. He is currently more than $4500 behind in his payments. I hate to think about it, but I may have to evict him... which means in a year or two, we could move there in the summer. Who knows what lays ahead? For now, e are happy here... but my heart belongs in the UP!
