Take it easy on Brent
I have been waiting for your first comment, DemsAreEvil. I agree with your assessment of fanatical Muslims, I would go further to say that the only good one is a dead one. But Brent is a special case. Give him some time. I think he will come around to a more realistic viewpoint. He just got off of a disappointing venture of support for General Wesley Clark, another special case. If Clark won the Democratic nomination, I probably would have voted for him. Brent and Clark are both liberals who actually use their minds, and who we must help to come to the right conclusions.
You may be interested in my latest blog in "The Agnostics Primer" (Religion and Spirituality), which started out as a purely philosophical blog, but ended up as a blatant plug for our current President, George W. Bush.

Pacifism
Brw is a pacifist in the blame America first crowd of liberals. A bunch of fanatical Muslimes attacked us for no reason other than we cherish freedom and democracy. Nobody in America "did" anything to provoke Osama Bin Laden to murder 3000 innocent people. He just hates Americans, Christians and Jews and wants us all dead because he believes in a false prophet and a false religion.
This war isn't over by any means.

I like it.
While we certainly recognize the terrorists' actions as inappropriate, we also acknowledge that our own behavior, whether we enjoy admitting it, can compel others to act irrationally.
