I wasn't thrilled about the downsizing to get ready for the move. I still have stuff in storage in St. Louis. I need to get that out and bring it down here.

Good evening

I used to love going to yard sales. Now I wish that I could sell all of the crap that I have accumulated over the past several decades in one big yard sale of my own. I just don't have the time, but I have started downsizing by donating knick-knacks, books, old clothes and coats, and seasonal clutter to my kids, the library, and the thrift store. Anything that collects dust or hasn't been worn in a year is gone.

Good luck on getting him to let go of things.  I never had much luck with that with Ribcage, P.D. and their dad.  Preacher never showed much evidence of it and poor David didn't have a chance of collecting with dying at age 23.

Good Afternoon

Kabu, it sounds like you are having a good weekend.  I had to quit going to garage sales because if I go I'm tempted to buy something and there's really nothing I need.  We went to the meat market today and it ended up being a Ukraine market.  The people were speaking a different language and Roy thought it was Russian.  They had excellent smokies.  There's a big area of Ukraine people living in the area and I know there were a lot of families that took in families from the war-torn areas.  They were going to have a parade today.  I thought that was so nice.  There are beautiful churches in the area and I kept thinking how nice for the displaced families to have a church of worship close to where they live.

I don't think there is  a big sale for anything much here. By the way my neighbors have gone to Australia to stay with a son. I heard yesterday that they both have Covid. Must be a tough strain as they had been inoculated.

Neighborhood yardsales are big where I'm at. I myself am not looking to accumulate right now.
