If you go more than 32 days without a submission on a story, they consider it "closed." I am pushing my stuff on Twitter nearly every day, and occasionally on FB, but I have found that unless you are PAYING FB, they hide your stuff.
What I have been doing is working on two or three different stories, writing one to three episodes of one story each week, and then one to three of the others, "making me" work on two to three different Vella projects every week. It keeps me from getting bored!

I need to start adding to my vella stories again. They still haven't deleted the first Fade Out story. They say it can't be on vella and published. I told them to delete it but so far they haven't.

We both get Social Security for roughly $4200 a month between us. My Vella checks have been about $350 to $450 a month, plus my Audible checks have been about ~$250 a month, and my ebooks are about $175 every month.
I figure I "make" about $29 a day with my writing stuff, which means if I work three hours a day, I am making $10 an hour. I'll take it. LOL
