You remind me of my mom. She grew up on a farm. If they didn't grow or raise it, they didn't get it.

I guess anyone visiting you know they are in for a culinary treat .I did pick the first red pepper today, they seem a long time turning but I suppose one can use them green.

I'm sure Caesar is going to enjoy that breakfast when he wakes up.

Your posts always makes me drool reading about your meals you cook.  I do so love garden produce.  That's the way my Mom & Dad fed us good stuff--growing and canning.

I really like corn, peaches AND biscuits. Now I'm hungry.

Good afternoon

I am now craving a fluffy buttermilk biscuit. I am going to have to make a dinner that goes with them on Monday. Thanks for the suggestion.

Your mention of peaches reminded me of summers when Mama

used to can peaches, and my sis and I were recruited to help peel and pit them. She once made peach ice cream which she froze in the ice cube tray in the fridge, and it was probably the best I've ever tasted.  Have a great day.
