I suppose in a way we do need friends even if we feel they are a bit of a pain at times. Sadly as one becomes older friendship is more limited. At least having a friend or friends makes one feel one is not alone. Encouragement is the little jewel which you rightly say, we need to carry on.

A wonderful post and I personally don't watch the news channels. I keep in touch by looking on my Iphone and Computer. I was able to keep up with the Commonwealth games on the computer.Congratulations to mt birth country Australia fo the win.
