That makes a lot of sense to me. Humans have the capacity to do so much if they want to.

Good Morning

Sherri, thanks for sharing such a great post.  I believe there is hope for civilization.  There are many kind people in the world that are willing to help others in need.  As a family we all take care of each other.  This reminds me of something my grandkids say.  They always talk about superpowers and I said to them one day that I wish I had a superpower.  They said I do and of course, I wondered what in the world it could be.  They said my cooking was my superpower.  I told them I wanted another superpower like flying or being invisible and they said my cooking is more important than the rest of the powers.  This makes me smile every time I think of it.

As a child who broke their femur I was taken care of by all of my loving family.  I'll never forget it.

Thank you for this Post. Even  Mother animal can only stay close to her little one and give comfort until it dies.

As the mother of a 4-year-old who suffered a broken femur, and

how the impact of that affected our entire family, I have to agree with Margaret Mead's wise weighing of the facts. Thankfully, my son's older siblings chose to be civilized and caring, which enabled mom and dad to bring home the bacon. Thanks for posting such interesting things.
