Kabu, thank you for the upbeat words today. Yesterday was rough but hopefully, today will be better. My family is always close by. If they aren't staying to eat I send food home with them. When it comes to my spaghetti sauce they all want me to send home containers filled with it. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Sherri, I'm always happy when I write my animal series. I was going to write another chapter yesterday but I was in too much pain. I hope today will be better. It's funny but I'm not a fan of steak. I would rather have chicken. Thank you for the good wishes. I hope you have a good day.

Pat, thank you so much for the good thoughts. Yesterday was rough but we shall see what today brings. The ice and ibuprofen do seem to help. I think today I'm going to drink some tea. For some reason, it sounds good to me after having coffee all morning.

Like Pat_B, I have difficulty writing (or concentrating on anything really) when I'm in pain. It's great that you can work through it and were able to submit your story! Your meatloaf inspired me to make one tomorrow too - it's a favorite around here as well.

We are not allowed to use candles in this apartment complex due to fire hazzard. And, I really do need to restock on batteries. The last time we had a blackout, I could not find any batteries that work. But I never can remember to put them on the list of needs. I think I'll do that right now while I am thinking of it.

Good afternoon
Oh, no. I am so sorry that you're in pain once again. Ice and ibuprofen help greatly with sore muscles. Your animal series is wonderful. At least you can catch on to your many pet detectives. We like hot dogs too, with mustard and onions, but since it's Tuesday, I am making John his favorite steak tacos in flour tortillas with pico de gallo and queso fresco cheese. I'm not a fan of steak, so I am having a bean and cheese quesadilla with guacamole. Keep on writing, and I hope that your leg feels better.

It has been one hellish summers with the temperatures. I think the Northwest is going to break a record. I doubt most people there have air conditioners.

I can't function - focus on a story line - when I'm in pain. The
inflamed nerves make me tense and sometimes hostile. Best thing for me is to hunker down in solitude and wait for it to let up. I hope you're better able to manage than I am, but if you need to rest, ... well, you know what to do. Feel better.

Miserable to be in pain all the time. A lot of things take time to heal. It seems to happen so easily, but I guess one can get away with it when one is young. Glad that you can continue your writing, it does keep the mind active.
