Goodwill do resell ut very cheap
## There is a boy here today. Several boys advertised in the local paper and Jim kept their names. He rang the first one on the list this morning because we both crawled out of bed really tired and grumpy. I think we even disliked dear Graysome pussy cat altho. he wasn't doing anything wrong.
The lad said yes to 4 hours this afternoon. YES!!!!
He is here now and I have been banished because I get too independent and start doing my own thing. Yesterday was OK because we were in different areas but today it was fill boxes and decide what to keep and what not to keep. OOPS. We have different ideas. I am quite ruthless. My rule in my house was always if I hadn't used it for two years such as a silly kitchen gadget I thought I may use and didn't, then it went off to wherever was convenient. Here it is Goodwill and in Canada it was the Bible Mission and in Sydney I have no idea. Actually in Sydney I put most good things out onto the street. At the end of our street there were a huge block of apartments from bed-sitters to three bedroom.We called it the jungle and people came and went all the time; were always needing things. When I put anything out the front, it was gone very quickly.
Graysome and I are sitting in the front living area in the cool and not worrying about a thing. I think this is all too soon after packing up this time last year and moving us down to here.
Wiley is in my thoughts so much today. .

Good morning
My parents live near lake Tahoe, Nevada. The heatwave is relentless. I pray that all who need rain and cooler conditions receive it ASAP. I can't wait to see photos of your finished kitche. My bet is that it will be beautiful.

I think I must dream some days away lately. They say here is the hottest place in England I am thinking of having my eyelids removed , to enable me to stay awake. Shampooed the carpet, there was no residue in the container the carpet sucked

It's probably going to be worth all the inconvenience, and dealing
with make-do situations will make the finished upgrade all the more appreciated. I think I'd be tempted to pick up carry-out meals or order a pizza now and then. I hope you two and Mr. Graysome aren't too stressed out by the time it's all done.

Kabu, all your hard work will pay off with a shiny new kitchen. What colors did you pick for your kitchen? As far as the heat goes I hope Fall arrives early this year. It's been very hot in the city. I donate my household items to the City Mission. They help everyone in need. I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay cool.

It's a pain and having been through this paper plates and cups and plastic cutlery help a lot. It will be nice when done. I still haven't put back the stuff into the cupboards yet cause of the new countertops that aren't scheduled yet. Good to clear things out. Don't overdo.

Back when I had a mattress to donate, which none of the major chain thrift stores accept, I dug around a little and found a community organization that takes household goods and passes them along for free to people, like women who have escaped bad circumstances and need to set up a new home, often with kids. I like knowing that the organization does not sell them.

I keep putting off working on stuff to take to good will or salvation army. I did go through a bunch of paper today to see what I could discard/discard now. But that was pretty much a sit down job.
