I guess everyone suffers with eye problems eventually, it is good to get a fix before it becomes too bad. Enjoy.

Oh  yes all the things Covid made difficult. I need to get eyes tested but I have just paid out a fortune for teeth so the other can wait.

I'm glad you were able to get to the eye doctor's. I have corneal dystrophy,  so I have to go everywhere. My concern when the virus first started was that I would have a delay. Routine visits couldn't happen, and I didn't want to risk my eye health or my dental health. Fortunately, I timed my visits before the lockdowns occurred and then things got reopened well before my next visits.

Some eye specialists can correct your vision to 20-20 at the same

time they're doing the cataract removal. In any case, once the cataracts are gone the whole world looks brighter and clearer. I have a thing about anything to do with my eyes, was in terrible dread - but the process wasn't painful or even creepy. The after-effects were joy and amazement. With so many drivers on the road darting in and out of traffic lanes, speeding, messing with cell phones while driving, etc., having sharp vision is really necessary - good on you for dealing with it.

Re: Good afternoon

Thank you, Sherry! It's great to take whatever preemptive care of your eyes that you can. It's a good test. Also the glaucoma test was done and that's okay also.

Re: TAPS

Thank you. The drusen have remained stable, as well as the cataract growth so that's good. Macular Degeneration runs strongly in my family. Plus, I renewed my driver's license so I need to be able to see while driving!

Good afternoon

Smart. I just had that retina test done at America's Best. I only wear readers, but from being on the computer so much, my eyes have paid the price. Although I don't wear them, I had no clue about contacts and COVID. It seems to attack just about every little part of our body. It is a really nasty virus. Thanks for the warning.
