Today, July 4, 2022 would be the 80th wedding anniversary of my older
sis and her husband. She was working in a shipyard, a Rosie the Riveter job, he was in the navy about to be shipped to the Pacific - they married after a six-week courtship, and shortly after that he was deployed for "the duration." He passed away about two years before she did, at the age of 90. I hope your holiday is joyful.
