I can remember my poor little Mommy with her five puppies here - they exhausted her, so I got them onto drinking from saucers as soon as I could. The other 4 pups from that litter went to foster home where they were experienced in dealing with sick newborns (the 4 are all ddoing fine now as adults!). Even 5 hungry little critters were hard for her to handle.

oh I remember doing this in the middle of a night and I was only feeding One. poor little Mama.
