Re: Good afternoon

Sherri, I know you will have a blast at Joni's house.  When you buy your cheese do you freeze it?  I hope you share pictures of your celebration.

Re: The heat makes me sick, too. Once passed out while working a book

Pat, it's heating up today.  They said our temps would be around 82 and we are closing in on 86.  This is why fall is my favorite time of year.  Happy 4th to you and your family!

It does seem that eating out is becoming more cheaper than getting groceries. Times are crazy.

Good afternoon

What a fun morning that you have had! I will have to try Michelle's melted mozarrella trick. I love that particular cheese in my pizza dip. It was so hot and humid here this morning after a night of thunderboomers and rain. It is now comfortable. I love cheese factories. One of my favorite cheeses is Brie. We are always stocked up on a variety of cheeses since I use it in everything. Fresh parmesan is delish on salads, sauces, and pasta. We are headed out to our youngest daughter's house for a BBQ, bonfire, and fireworks. The grandkids are excited that pappy bought the motherlode of boomers. Johnny turns into a double-digit midget this month, so he is doubly excited. I made potato salad for the gathering and everyone else is bringing something to add to the burgers and hot dogs. Enjoy your day and have a wonderful holiday!

I stick to air conditioned places these days when it's that miserable. Better safe than sorry, as the saying goes. I hope you all have only great memories to look back on from this weekend's adventures...
