A nice day that of which you describe...I've had my car alarm go off a time or two.

Good Afternoon

Taps, I hope the rest of your day is peaceful and enjoyable.  It's quiet here today with no sign of rain.  The garden is doing good and most of my flowers are beautiful  I did lose two of my blue ones and I was sad about that but we are going to look for something else to put in their spot in the container.

Good morning

This is just another example of why I detest technology. Car horns and alarms are one of the most irritating noises that have a grating way of getting on your last nerve, especially when it interrupts nature's peaceful calm.

I set mine off once by accidently pressing the alarm button on my key fob. Thankfully my son was with me and knew how to stop it. He showed me, in case it ever happened again, but I don't think I remember what he said.....

I think it's that a bit of moisture creeps into a sealed bobble thingie

and connects a positive wire to a negative in that wiring harness under the hood. Only a racket that would wake the dead will generate enough heat to dry up the dew drop and cut off the connection to allow silence, blessed silence, to ensue. Or possibly it's some other misfire that will cost the car's owner a trip to the shop and a repair bill that's not covered by his insurance. I hope you can catch a nap later after being so rudely awakened.
