Love stories almost always work that and science fiction but that is tough. one has to come up with something amazing no one else knows about and the research would be huge.

Actually, I have thought about writing another love story, but not like the ones I have written before. With the minor except for helping Lisa write her story, all of my romance stories have been 'storybook love' where everything goes nicely, no one says a word in anger, and they end up, 'living happily everafter.'
I may give that some thought.

I think the books I have hated are when the hero or heroine dies on the last page.
I do think one needs a strong main character it does encourage one to follow the
progress. Sadly it is often that it is unobtainable as it is unwritten and memory is
short. I know you have a good following and maybe just a simple love story would
be worth considering. Nothing heavy.
