Re: anib

Sounds good; one never knows what has taken place. The apples we eat now must have been harvested in the last summer.

In this part of the country, the Royal and also the desert state, we get everythng fresh. The sabziwala (vegetable man) brigs them on his Thela (cart). A lucky arrangement, I think.

Re: Good Evening Goldiec

Yes, very wise. The first loss is the best. I suppose things are mass-produced, so sometimes the odd ropey one has been around too long.

Re: Kabu

Yes better to be safe than sorry. I burnt my dinner today so I had to have an apple and the little bits that were not charred. Anyway folk eat too much, yes good thinking until one feels hungry.

Re: Good evening sassy

Yes the problem is we get it delivered and it is a job to spot dented cans. When using the supermarket one usually inspects the can.

Good evening

I guess that dented cans do pose a bit of danger. That's a shame. Beans and sausage would have made a good meal. The greens aren't a bad second though. It's good that you looked inside the can. That could have led to all kinds of diasasters that may have included the porcelain throne.

I am so relieved you didn't eat any from the dented can. I never use a can that is dented or brown around the rim. one of these lives you will win that girl! May have to be the next life though.

Good Evening

I just opened a new carton of cottage cheese yesterday.  I was going to put a small container in Roy's lunch.  The cottage cheese was just water and some kind of fat.  No curds or anything like that and it looked slimy.  I got rid of it.  We have to really check our food now.  Something is just not right.  It's a good thing you threw your can away.
