Re: CCT,

This was just not his weekend, or his show. He isn't going to quit by any means! In hindsight, he should have had a vendor table instead of just doing the art show/auction which was free to do. A table would have cost maybe $200 for the weekend, but he would have been there, would have been able to talk with people. As it was, many people don't read the sign that tells the story of the Wasteland Bears, they just see these messed-up teddybears and think there is something very wrong with him!

Re: Goldiec,

The pandemic, coming at us out of the blue, has had an impact on so many things simply by causing so many people to pull back from so many activities! We could have been prepared, and on some levels, preparations had been made, but they were unmade just before they were needed.

I suppose things change, it is very slow on anything ornamental these days.

I expect Charlie will think of something else,

Good Morning

I'm sorry the StarFest is ending.  I think there are so many factors that play a part in the ending of events.  I heard on the news this morning that Lolly the Trolley is going out of business in Cleveland.  I couldn't believe it.

Re: It was overcast here, ranging from hazy to passing clouds last night,

We so often have clouds, too, and miss the events in the sky!  I just happened to go outside just as totality was beginning, and there was just enough light for my camera to agree to focus. Then the totality phase went on and on...! There were some clouds like veils that sometimes got in the way, but it was still visible to me if not to the camera!

It was overcast here, ranging from hazy to passing clouds last night,

but I was able to see various stages of the eclipse through the neighbor's giant oak trees. Later the sky cleared and the full moon was "a diamond in the sky."  Your pictures of the event are wonderful...
