Re: FSI, I never thought about them being on a boat. That's just crazy.

Obviously, they live where they damn well feel like it.

They truly are everywhere. Believe it or not, it was a constant battle against them when my father had a boat. We probably killed more spiders on a boat than anywhere else.

Re: C_C_T, that is really creepy. Fast moving and vicious, no thanks.

Some of them will make you really sick after you've been bitten.

Good Evening

Sassy, I'm not a fan of spiders in any way, shape, or form.  I wish you could have seen the one that was in the kitchen years ago.  It was a monster.  It was bigger than my hand.  It had to go.  Michelle is the one that saw it first and yelled for me.  We still talk about this.

I admire their industry, their purpose for the most part, and have carried

spiders out of the house in a paper towel I used to trap them. Most don't dash away when they get their freedom, but some do. I do agree they can creep us out, and that it's no fun to stumble through a web while on a hiking trail.

The ones I find most irritating live on the ground and can move like crazy. I went to pull a weed, and one darted out and bit my finger. Our soil seems to be covered with them due I expect to the dry weather.
