For the 10+ years since I was first diagnosed, I've been anxious and confused, and shying off the whole issue, but now I guess I'm getting the best support from my doctor who is really glad I suggested it was time for insulin, and she didn't have to try to talk me into it, and from the nurse I am talking with every week for a while who is patient with my clumsiness with the smart phone. This means I have to read my blood sugar numbers to her rather than transmit in one quick list she can look at before our phone meeting.

Oh, the little hummers...! I heard one the other day--do you know, only the males make that tinny, humming sound in flight? You're smart to make the sugar water that way, I've heard that the dye in commercial stuff is actually very bad, even deadly for them!
During drought times in New Jersey when I was a kid, my mom ran the outflow hose from the washer to the roses in her garden, and they loved the phosphates in the water!

Good Morning
I hope that you have a good Wednesday. So far this week our weather has been good. When I read your post it reminded me that we put our hummingbird feeder up over the weekend. I haven't seen one hummingbird but hopefully, they will be arriving soon. I make their food with water and sugar. They don't seem to like the store-bought variety. I've been waiting patiently to plant my flowers but Roy keeps telling me it's too soon. Everything looks so green around here. The colors of Spring are so vibrant. Once the heat of summer comes things change when it gets too dry.
