Go to Life in the fast lane--where's the on ramp?Add a commentGo to BAD DRIVERS

Yes, there are more people driving these days who can't... At least that's how it seems to me. And it's so crowded here. Horrid.

I have only driven once since I came here to live. Cananda was easy compared to here plus I seem to have lost my GPS on the trip down and have to replace it but there are so many better things to get first...like new Gnomes that really wanted to come here to live.

I used to be one of those drivers - not that I was impatient but more because I loved speed. Getting older has mellowed me - I'm much slower now.

Yes, Florida is full of them. They either drive to slow like myrtle the turtle or so fast you wonder if they even have brakes! Then there are the weavers, the motorcyclists are the worst. They drive in between the cars to get ahead.

It is a £200 fine if seen using a mobile whilst driving. Although some do it if they think they can get away with doing so. Sadly there is not much pleasure in driving here, more and more cars and it takes longer to get anywhere at peak times. I think I would feel safe if you were driving.l

Good afternoon

Aggressive drivers scare the hell out of me. Like you, I practice safe driving. I barely use my cell phone as is let alone attempt to use it while I am driving. IMHO...it's better to be safe than sorry.

Good Morning

Pat, I have to say drivers in Cleveland have issues, to say the least.  They want to drive as fast as they can and change lanes at a minute's notice.  Rush hour is a scary thing.  Everybody is doing 80-85 and they are all riding close together.  If one little thing goes wrong somebody is going to get hurt.  I wonder why people don't think about the dangers of driving so fast.  Everyone is in a hurry and can't get to where they are going fast enough.

One day we were on 90 during rush hour and the traffic was flying at a high speed.  There was 4 lanes bumper to bumper.  I told Roy I will never go on 90 again.  It's crazy!  If you are going 85 they want you to go faster.  I would drive 25 miles around to keep from going on that highway.

P.S. What reminded me of this was the impatient individual who

showed up at the school across the street to drop off their kid at 7:09, when by long-standing custom, the doors don't open until 7:15. Someone unwilling to wait at the end of the line - the 7:25 traffic jam. Those moms and dads are so polite, allowing others to take their turn. I smile as they proceed in an orderly fashion, starting their kids' day off pleasantly. The impatient jackasses, not so much.
