Yes a bit rough for Charlie, but I guess he will cope. Slavery was a vile trade, but of course, it made some exceedingly rich. Morals could always be swept under the carpet.

I was refused lasik surgery years ago too. Charlie will consider it a bump in the log, and move on. Happy to hear you are getting the insulin under control too.

I haven't seen that movie, but with those actors involved, it must
have been heartbreaking and authentic... I'm sorry your good son didn't get his wish for lasik surgery. But that won't stop the artist in him from anything.
