We used to have a steep gravel driveway. I think my father got tired of spinning wheels and spewing gravel as well as all the snow and ice back in those days.

Sassy, I know your fairies will be happy in your herb garden. The delightful scents coming from your plants will make them very happy. My gnomes and fairies spend most of their days outside but at night they always come in to get into their comfy beds. The rule is they take a shower, eat dinner and play video games, and then they are off to bed.

Kabu, I know your fairies were sad when the gnomes turned the hose on them. My gnomes love to tease and I've talked to them on numerous occasions but for some reason, they think it's funny. I'm lucky I have Sgt Mulberry because my gnomes know I will enlist his help if the gnomes get too far out of hand. My fairies are so sweet and they just want to enjoy the flowers in the yard and have their tea parties. My gnomes are a little on the rougher side but they are doing much better than when they first got here. They were a bunch of hooligans when they first arrived. They know there will be trouble if they get too far out of line.

Good afternoon
It was hot here today too. I am showing cooler temps later in the week, but not too cool. I am just happy that the rain stopped. That would have been a sweet sight to see under your Magnolia tree. My fairies are going to be lodged around my herb garden this year. The gnomes will have a separate village. As for those house projects, there never seems to be an end to them.

Interesting to read because sometimes my Gnomes act quite mean to my fairy troop. One time I left the hose running and went inside. I heard a noise sounded like screams to me so went and looked. Those naughty Gnomes had turned the hose onto the fairies, their wings were wet so they couldn't fly and the Gnomes were teasing them.

FSI, my neighbor has an asphalt driveway and it's nice. Our driveway is so long that it would be expensive to change it right now. I'm not sure what we will do later but after the new roof, we have to wait a while. I hope you have a great day!

Pat, you are so right! A tea party does sound like a lot more fun than filling holes. I think organizing experts always say less is better. I do agree but it's so time-consuming going through things. I did do this a few years ago with closets and the kids' toys and I was able to make a coat closet out of the front closet. It felt like a great accomplishment to me. I hope you have a great day.

My house used to have a stone driveway. Every so often, stone would have to be delivered. That's how it was when my grandmother had it. When I got the house, I went with an asphalt driveway.

The tea party sounds like more fun than filling holes in the driveway.
