Good afternoon
This must be the day for errands and chores. We had to clean up some downed branches from the recent storms. I love butter and I enjoy watching the Pioneer woman. I just watched one of the Food Network cooks make butter this past week. I believe that it was the Canadian home cook, Mary Berg. Roy has good taste. Hamburgers are one of John's favorites too. I made hamburgers the other day. I attempted the Burger King Whopper Melts. They actually came out good. Don't get me started with the online orders. I have been purchasing sandals, bird and squirrel food, and household products. I love Dove soap too. Anywho, I have almost completed my chores for today. Have a great night.

Re: I used to churn butter when I lived on a farm one school year. The
Pat, I'm sure those buttermilk pancakes were delicious. I was just lucky that I watched that food channel and watched how they make butter now. I had no clue but it really is good. I really cannot imagine what the pioneer women went through in their everyday lives. I imagine by the time they were ready for bed they were very tired. The only heat they had was from the fireplace and I'm not sure how warm that would have been.

I used to churn butter when I lived on a farm one school year. The
foster family we three kids stayed with that year were dairy farmers, so they got first dibs on the whole milk. We skimmed the cream after it rose to the top while it was being chilled in the fridge and usually churned it on the sun porch. Not as fast as a food processor, but then when it was done we also had buttermilk, which "Aunt" Ethel used in her pancakes.

I'm sure the butter you make adds a lot to the foods.
