Personally I went shopping when the new roof was put on the house in Canada. It is noisy but you will really enjoy the new roof and feel safe for years to come.

Pat, I would go away but the guys had to fix some wood that had rotted. They needed me in the garage and then they needed me when they had questions so I stayed home. Roy's home now so he's been going outside when they have a question about the boards they are fixing. From what Roy says they will be back tomorrow but they are doing a very thorough job. I'm thankful for that.

It's not a good idea to remain in the house when there's renovation
or a roof repair going on. Maybe this is a good time to go out for a manicure or a haircut and lunch at some little diner.

Roofers or any sort of contractors around have a way of making time slow down due to the pounding.

Good afternoon
We had our porch roof replaced a few years ago after a mini-tornado ripped it off of the house. The guys sounded like a herd of elephants while they were putting on the new roof. I guess that some jobs are less glamorous than others. The end result will be worth it though. Maybe you can go sit outside in this nice weather and read your favorite book while the guys carry on with the repairs.
