C_C_T, if you fry up your peppers and shallots and then add your tomatoes to cook along with lots of spices it will make a beautiful sauce. Then you could make rice and pour your sauce over it. I think it would be very tasty.

Pat, I wonder if coffee grounds would be good in flower gardens? I have no idea. I sure hope Cleveland and St. Louis have some nice weather coming our way. I'm really getting tired of going outside and freezing.

adnohr, stay warm during your cold spell. We had our stuffed cabbage and it was so good. It's been a long time since we had them. I hope you enjoy yours when you make them this week. I wonder if your little granddaughter would like them?

Sassy, we've managed to have a good day even though it's freezing outside. The remote on our cable box wasn't working so we took it back to Spectrum to get another one and when we got there we found out they moved. There was a sign on the door. We found the new store and returned the remote and got a new one. Roy's busy trying to program it. We've been meaning to get the new remote for a long time but thankfully we have it now. Good Luck on your shopping trip. I hope you find just what you want. Enjoy dinner.

You do seem to have so much fun with your cooking. We are going to make something out of tomatoes, shallots and peppers and freeze it. Of course, the plan is to grow it first.

Coffee grounds make great compost. I ought to quit with the Keurig
cups, but I no longer do much gardening and have let myself go lazy about the coffee stuff. Hoping Cleveland and this St. Louis area both get a lovely warm week or two in the near future.

We use our coffee grains in the garden compost too. Had a big dumping of snow yesterday, but now supposed to rain for the next couple of days, so the snow will be gone. Thanks for the idea - reading your post madde my decision for cabbage rolls this week!

Good morning
You are busy this morning. I have never made chocolate candy. That sounds like fun. John loves those little smokies. I am guessing that your snow will be headed our way in a few hours since you are only a short distance away from us. We are headed out to shop here in a bit. We are getting the stuff needed to make the grandkid's bunny baskets. Next weekend we are planning to hide eggs with prizes in them. I am also shopping for sandals and summer dresses for our trip to Washington D.C. next month. I believe that Kohl's and Macy's are my best options. With the mall closures and a lack of retail stores, it is hard to find these things other than online. I believe that we are also stopping for dinner somewhere along the way. I have been wanting to try the Burger King Whopper Melts, but there aren't many of them in our area. Anywho, have a fun day. I can already smell those cookies.
