He probably didn't think about where he had dropped the package. Now that he is aware, he should be careful in the future. Glad you found your balance quickly enough to avoid getting hurt.

That could have had very different results had you not caught yourself. Trip hazards are the cause of many a broken bone. At least the carrier is now aware of his ignorance. Anywho, I am happy to hear that you are alive and well.

Was it something worth falling over?
I am so careful these days you would think I am old. I never go up or down stairs without holding on to a rail and I do not go out when the weather looks like it might be icy. I used to not even think about it. I'm glad you didn't fall and hurt yourself.
