Re: Adnohr
The piece of string answer (frustratingly academic) is: a piece of string is exactly twice as long as the distance from one end to the middle. This stupid question is kinda like this one: "How far can a dog run into the woods?" Of course the answer is 'halfway, then he's running out again.' These might be funny at a gathering of drunks.

Ok - but what was the answer to the college entrance exam question? Except that it always seems to be just a little bit shorter or much longer than what you need?

Re: Goldiec
A) you're not 95 years old, and 2) you're normal. I think that's what it says.

Good Afternoon
Oh no! I have to say without researching I didn't know the answers to any of these questions. I wonder what that says about me?

Re: Re: Sassyass 64
Yay!! Thank you. Teddy is one of my favorite presidents due to his love of animals and the fact that we share a birthday. FDR was before my time, but I have a few relatives who served in WWII. Eleanor was an exceptional first lady who was born before her time. She was influential and a genuine trendsetter in so many ways.

Re: Sassyass 64
Winner! Teddy didn't make that speech, Franklin did.

Good morning
Eleanor Roosevelt shares a birthday with my birth father on October 11. Her maiden name was also Roosevelt. I know that Franklin Roosevelt made an infamy speech concerning the unprovoked attack on Pearl Harbor, but I am at a loss over Theodore Roosevelt who shares a birthday with me.
