MIL sounds like she was quite a fun character! My friend Suzie from Detroit sent me a text this morning that she was getting a divorce. I replied with a picture of a fish, which is the symbol in Quebec for 'Poisson d'Avril', April Fool's Day.

Good Afternoon
Pat, this is a great post. Can you just imagine the look on someone's face if they believed this April Fool's joke? It would be priceless. You could carry the joke further and ask them to help pick out names. Oh and maybe ask them to plan the baby showers. That would be fun! It's nice to be able to find things to laugh about during these trying times. I love it! I'd even go so far as to say I was suffering from morning sickness and run off to the bathroom. I'd love to be in on this joke!

Crazier things have happened
That is a fun story that should last through many generations. Most ladies get up go has got up and gone once we complete the childbearing stage. Sometimes a later surprise does occur when we least expect it though. It happened to my mother who gave birth to my brother the year that I turned eighteen. Her first marriage produced me in October 1964 and then later a fifth marriage produced Dennis in March 1983.
