Big egos tend to damage a person's rational thinking. Hopefully, he became humbled by life's hard knocks that nobody manages to escape. I believe that they call it karma.

Good Morning
FSI, I think it's hard to be a coach. There's so much involved in having a winning team. I do believe it helps to have the parent's support. I like to see the whole team play and sometimes for whatever reason some of the players get to play more than others. I suppose it depends on who's having a good week. It's freezing here today! I hope you stay warm.
