One of the reasons I can't do remote work from home is because of my internet being on satellite, therefore not reliable. Cable will only be available here sometime this year, by September they say. I hope all goes well for the installation of your new roof, and I imagine it will be noisy for a couple of days!

Too cold here for birds and Bella Squirrelto be around. The Gnomes are restless but it is too early for them to be outside everywhere. have a lovely rest of the day.

Taps, I'm thankful to have cable. When we want to watch something on tv the last thing we want to worry about is our reception.

Sassy, the cable is very expensive but my cable doesn't go out when the weather changes or it rains so I'm going to stay with them.

Never had satalite tv. Considered it when moved here because of the woods andlake all around, but decided against it.

John and I have talked about switching to satellite tv. I am glad that you posted about your experience with it. I guess that I will stick with cable television for now even though it has its own set of issues, not to mention a hefty price tag.

Satellite TV is really unreliable unless someone lives in a place with perfect weather (little to no precipitation and no wind). I'm glad I have cable, too.
