Good luck with the roof, I like the way you harden off your plants we do get late frosts sometimes so most folks used to plant potatoes on Good Friday, I suppose once it was a kind of holiday. Although I have seen potatoes frosted up to June. I think you are earlier though.

it is quite warm herebut overcast and a busy wind blowing around. Birds are out and eating along with the squirrel Bella. Maybbe weather is coming.

Good afternoon
Good roofers usually can finish a roof quickly if they have a good work crew and the right equipment to get the job done. John's brother owns a roofing company. He used to work with them on weekends. I learned quite a bit about roofing from just listening to them talk. A mini-tornado blew our porch roof off a few years ago. The guys had a new one in place in just a few hours. Like you, I take my plants outdoors to bask in the sun and bring them back in later in the day. I keep my livingroom blind wide open so that the sun from the south can warm up the house. I am loving these warm temps.

I'm guessing the timing of your roof installation will depend in part
on the weather. They don't want to tear off just before a snowstorm... Fingers crossed we won't see more snow until next holiday season.

It's amazing how fast roofers can move. That's how it was when I got my roof over a decade ago. It was one of the easier projects done at my house.
