Re:
C_C_T, we always plant small cherry tomatoes and small orange tomatoes. They are so good. The kids love them. It seems like the cost of plants has really gone up recently.

I notice the phlox pants are coming up I took pieces of the root in the Autumn
because the plants are so expensive to buy. I am trying some smaller tomatoes this
year as they may be easier to freeze.

Re: Good afternoon
Sassy, I hope you have a wonderful day with the family. It will be nice when I can open the windows and feel the breeze from outside. I made myself some lime water with ice and that in itself feels like Spring to me.

Re:
FSI, I would also say that Spring is refreshing. I made some zucchini bread in honor of Spring and the whole house smells delicious. I used my homemade vanilla and it is wonderful.

Re: My windchimes blew down in a storm a few months ago,
Pat, that must have been quite a storm. I hope you find some new ones when you go shopping.

Good afternoon
It's chilly with rain here too. We are finally gathering to celebrate our oldest daughter's birthday today. It is Mexican-themed, so the food should be amazing...minus the heartburn. This week promises to warm up, and I can't wait to start planting.

There is something so refreshing about spring, especially with what has been a brutal winter.

My windchimes blew down in a storm a few months ago,
they'd been tinkling there for 15 years or so. Will be shopping for some new ones soon.

I have wind chimes hanging outside my bedroom window too. They are hanging from the gallery roof, so are proteccted, and I can leave them there all winter. Love the sound of them. The one hanging there is from Japan, gifted to me by my DIL's parents.
