Yes, it is good when it is. Of course years ago folk had to stick it out in rented houses. I remember an old lady telling me that her Landlady just ignored her complaint of six leaks in the bedroom she had to keep six bowls to catch the drips.
Yes she said and I pay her 3 shillings and sixpence a week. Of course, the old-age pension was not much more than ten shillings a week. that was 120 pennies. It was not before Maggie Thatcher sold off the council houses presumably to encourage the owners to vote conservative.
