Yes, she is! And TAPS is also a special Blogit matriarch. In my family my mom would add the onion and garlic while or halved in sauce and pick it out at serving time. It is not uncommon.

Good morning
Pat is absolutely amazing in all that she does. She is our Blogit matriarch. As for garlic, it crosses many ethnic meal plans. The Italians would be lost without it. Garlic and onions are an awesome base for any recipe.

This is very interesting! I learn something new every day. I do have to say I love garlic. We have wild garlic growing along the fence of the garden. In the summer it smells so good.

I love this! I'd have never in a million years thought of it.
I lived in Seattle in the early 50s and again in the mid- 90's - never heard a mention of Garlic Gulch... Although I did love the variety of fabulous restaurants with authentic cuisines from all over the world...
