Re: TAPS
I can say a few phrases but not enough to hold a long conversation.

having moved around so much in my life, it can be intimidating to go to something unfamiliar. Since I left australia to live over here, first Canada and now USA it is tough making friends. I feel for you re finding a club or group to fit well with. And French is always a good idea.

Good morning
The environmental group would have interested me. I had to take a language in high school too. I chose German. The class bored me to tears. French would have been a better choice, although looking back on it now, if I could push a redo button, I would have chosen a Spanish class.

Good Morning
FSI, I'm glad you found a Club that you liked. I think I would have loved the Green Club because it was centered around the environment. I do like the thought of recycling. I took three years of French in school but it was hard for me. I can count to ten in French but that's about it. I remember the first week of class the teacher assigned each one of us a French name.

Do you speak French now? I took three years of Spanish in High School but never became fluent.
