Good evening
Yep, it would make for a peaceful environment. Just add a warm blanket, a cup of tea, and a good book to the mix, and you've got the perfect scene.

. I hope your Muse has awakened. We need more like this to keep the old times ticking along. Oh! dear, I put tickling, but - Oh! say no more. Very soothing.

I loved reading this delight. It is so descriptive and pleasant. And I think the cadence of the last line is simply brilliant! Well done.

So clever!
A few months ago, NPR ran a piece about My Grandfather's Clock... one of my very favorite songs when I was a child--maybe the first one I could sing! Turns out it was based on a real clock and a real grandfather!

I really enjoyed this. Reminds me of a quiet room with a good book
that, while your mind is so captivated by the story, the sound becomes "invisible" to the ear, but comes right back when you reach the happy ending.
