Re:
I can imagine the animals want to be in the house by the fire. It is just too cold. I hope that you stay warm and safe from the cold.

We were supposed to get one to three inches of snow. We ended up getting rain and flurries. It was weird watching the salt trucks still salt the roads.

It is not too bad here a bit of light frost, but it usually melts quite early. I still think we are getting warm winds from some where. Most unusual for January .
We appear to be getting groceries delivered as usual no panic buying at present.

It's really cold here too but, as I said, we're quite used to it. Just the beasts who stay out only long enough to do their business then want right back inside to sit by the fire. Because of my parrrot, I have to make sure it is continually warm in the house. Lots of things missing on shelves in this area too. Fortunately, up to date, it isn't essentials, just extras that we are used to finding when we want them. Bundle up and stay warm!

Pat, I think making an afghan is the perfect way to spend a winter day. I know it's going to be beautiful. Enjoy your day and stay warm.

Re: Good morning
Sassy, we've been going to Meijer's and a lot of times they have a sign put up to limit what we can buy. Sometimes Giant Eagle puts up a sign in the meat department. Stay warm and safe.

Cold here, getting colder - we'll have chill factors around zero by
tomorrow morning. Working on an afghan, crocheted in squares of about 7" in an
assortment of colors - with no temptation to go outside, we should see pretty good progress - and it will make a warm cover-up once it's assembled and a border is crocheted around it. Stay warm.

Good morning
It is warm and sunny here this morning. Thank goodness for Giant Eagle. Their shelves have remained fully stocked through the COVID and Izzy. We live near four Walmarts, and the stories are all the same at each one...empty shelves. The Dollar General also has been a lifesaver as far as canned goods, paper products, and other necessities are concerned. Good luck with your shopping. Stay warm and be safe!
