Re: Pat

The homing instinct. It is always a problem to get rid of pests. I always try to do so

humanly. Although sometimes the messiest way is the most humane. On smaller

insects etc I like to use spray and eat the same day some use ingredients used in the

home.  remember DDT. It was sprayed everywhere and was even found in animals at the pole.

Re: Sea_Gypsy

I think although it seems horrible is to stamp on them with a size 10 boot. On a

concrete slab.at least the thrushes could feed. It is not a pretty sight to see a thrush

try to break open the snail shell. Nature is cruel at times.

Neighbors have a tendency of throwing things into one another's yards...The life of a snail is quite a life.

Snails can be such a problem and they are difficult to be rid of. An enjoyable poem.

The man who dabs the snails with white before sacking them up

and taking them away from his property has a scientific mind, a hopeful outlook and a kind heart. Would have been easier to get rid of them once and for all by using pesticides, but instead he tried to set them free. So they could invade his garden again.
