Good Afternoon
This just goes to show how one incident in a young girl's life can change her destiny forever. My heart goes out to anyone involved in anything like this. It's just too bad the parents were not loving people that could open their arms to their child and grandchild. I could never turn my children away.

How often children want to know the truth and how many different ways to tell them. This way was this mother's choice. Good story.

I don't know how I would take that as a child. I think I would go between revulsion at the thought of how I was conceived and sympathy and love for my mom who chose to keep me and be reminded of that moment for the rest of her life.

It is not good news for a child. Probably best-kept secret if possible.
Now it is a different ball game the authoress must choose. I know she is up to doing so..

Once again, you have left us hanging in suspence.
Imho, this is one of a writer's greatest attributes.

Good morning
Omg, no! Family secrets can be the death of an otherwise outwardly happy clan. This has now gone to a place that cannot end well unless forgiveness and understanding come into play.
