Good for you. I have to get used to copper coins again. They haven't been used in Australia for many years and not in Canada for probably 10 years.

I love those types of money also. What a crack-up - she never saw a 50-cent piece?

Good Afternoon
I like these types of coins too! They are fun to save. I have a couple $2 bills but they never really caught on. You don't see them around often.

Well our coins are becoming harder to sell. Once there was a groat I don't know what
it's value was but then came a farthing followed by a half-penny and then a penny.,followed by a three-penny piece and a sixpenny.
twelfth pennies made a shilling . followed by a two-shilling piece and the half-a-crown
occasionally a five-shilling piece. After that paper money. A five-pound note was so
rare, folk would hold on to the edge of it whilst waiting for their change. Now
Some shops will not take cash.

Good afternoon
We are the same way. We have a good stash of silver dollars and two-dollar bills. Our grandkids will probably one day inherit them, and hopefully, they will continue to save them.
