It just means you get to enjoy over several days instead of one!

Everyone here seems in happy anticipation of the Great Feed tomorrow, and precursor to the dreaded anticipation of over-fullness and post-feast lethargy.

It has taken me years to get to where I can discipline my mouth and stop eating before that awful over-fullness becomes inevitable!

Enjoy just what you want of the feast, stay happy and well.

I hope the day is blessed and happy for everyone around the table.

Well, S.G I don't think eating too much is good for anyone. Of course, at a traditional meal, it is a job to not look like you could devour everything. Anyway, I wish you joy and I hope you have a lovely time. .

Good afternoon

Sorry about your tummy woes. I completely understand eating small portions days before a huge feast. I have to eat small portions daily due to digestion issues. Heavy meals cause me to bloat for hours, so I have learned to play it safe. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

You've developed a good holiday strategy in light of the situation you find yourself in.

Happy Thanksgiving

Sea Gypsy, that brandied cranberry sauce sounds delicious!  I just might have to try it.  I'll have to get some brandy but there's still time.  I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I hope you all enjoy the delicious food and have the best holiday.  I'm so thankful this year that we are all getting together for turkey day.  My son is hosting this year and everyone will be at his house.  This is the very first time I didn't have to cook all the food.  I'm still making a turkey and we will have two turkeys for dinner because there are so many of us.  I'm really excited.  I hope you enjoy your dinner and family.  That is really the best part.
