Re:

BC-A, I hope that you are doing good this evening.  I'm hoping by Thanksgiving you feel much better.

Re:

C_C_T, I think you would love a traditional Thanksgiving dinner surrounded by family.  There's nothing quite like it.

Re: I'm thinking of holding Thanksgiving at my house this year for the

Pat, you made me smile when I read your comment.  I always made pumpkin pie for everyone and it has only been since last year that I found out my grandson likes apple pie.  I'm not sure why he never told me.  My favorite is pecan pie but nobody in my family eats it so I never make it.  The chocolate silk pie sounds delicious with whipped cream topping.  My granddaughter loves key lime pie.  Thanks so much for your comment.

You do make me feel envious we don't have a celebration like that. Only Guy Fawkes

And that frightens the dogs and cats.

I'm thinking of holding Thanksgiving at my house this year for the

two sons & a couple grandkids who are in this neck of the woods. I won't be cooking, though - I'll order a catered meal from the local Dierberg's store. Their food is always beautifully prepared and there are always leftovers. This year though, instead of pumpkin pie which I discovered they didn't even like after going to the trouble of making for 20 years, I'm going with my personal favorite, a chocolate silk pie with whipped cream topping. If they want pecan or some other dessert, that, too. Maybe there'll be football on TV, and phone calls from all over the country.  Yay!

Re: Good morning

Sassy, who's cooking the turkey?  I know you will have so much fun with the kids at Thanksgiving.  Good Luck with detailing the car.

Good morning

We had a chilly start to the day as well. It is now pleasantly warm outside. I plan to detail the car to get her ready for her inspection on Friday. The grandkids have a habit of leaving a litter trail whenever they are transported from their house to ours. As for Thanksgiving, we are also having it at our middle daughter's house. Jessica has a glass dining table that fits twelve guests, so it is the perfect place to share the holiday feast.
